He is tall and a bit lanky, on the lighter side for his height. His short brown hair is full but, despite his youth, starting to grey around the edges. Thick, dark eyebrows frame over his bright blue eyes. A downturn nose with a high, prominent bridge settles above a pair of boyish, balmy lips. His face is framed by high cheekbones and a strong jawline.

Alexander is a cheerful sort, usually looking for the good or the humorous in the day-to-day. He finds fulfillment in medicine, which is an extension of his passion to help those in need. While certainly not a pacifist, he abhors the idea of violence and prefers to use it as a last resort. It takes a very heavy heart for him to shut down and push others away. Sarcasm and quips are his bread and butter, though he relies on them more heavily when under duress.

Weaknesses: Talks too much, Can be dense in some ways, Puts himself in danger a lot

History:
Alexander Artopolis was born on the fringes of Federation space on a colony world so young that it still had an alphanumeric designation when it was overrun by the Borg in the invasion of 2381. At the age of thirteen, he witnessed his parents’ deaths, as well as the entire planet being glassed around him. Not normally known for wasting resources, the Borg’s extreme prejudice attack on a strategically worthless world was later classified as an anomalous wartime behavior that couldn’t be explained.

Years of therapy and soul-searching went by before Alex finally reached the age of eighteen and joined Starfleet. With the Borg long gone, he had no available path to revenge, choosing instead to focus on a more positive path. He wanted to help others. He wanted to stop them from dying- to keep what happened to him from ever happening to anyone else. Alexander Artopolis would become a doctor.

Service Record:
2386: Joined Starfleet Academy
